Simplifying and Standardizing Aortic Valve Repair

Discover the benefits of Aortic Valve Repair

Aortic insufficiency

Aortic valve repair is an attractive treatment option for patients with aortic valve insufficiency. Aortic insufficiency affects 0.5% of adults, or nearly 2.5 million people in the U.S. and Europe.[1]

Potential benefits of aortic valve repair: [2,3]

  • Lower operative mortality
  • Lower risk of valve related complications
  • No need for long-term anti-coagulation therapy
  • Improved long-term ventricular function
  • Improved long-term survival

The HAART Aortic Valve Repair Technologies include internal annuloplasty rings, instrumentation, and repeatable implantation procedures developed specifically to simplify and standardize the aortic valve repair operation.

HAART 300 Aortic Annuplasty Device
Tricuspid Aortic Valve Repair

BioStable HAART 300 Annuloplasty Device - tricuspid aortic valve repair

HAART 300 was designed from CTA images of normal aortic valves.

The HAART 300 Aortic Annuloplasty Device is elliptical in order to replicate the geometry of a healthy valve annulus. It is specifically designed to reduce annular dilatation, restore three-dimensional annular geometry, and serve as a framework to guide leaflet repair procedures.

HAART 200 Aortic Annuplasty Device
Bicuspid Aortic Valve Repair

BioStable HAART 200 Annuloplasty Device - bicuspid aortic valve repair

HAART 200 creates symmetric, circular annular geometry.

The The HAART 200 Annuloplasty Device is designed to reduce and remodel the annulus to produce a standardized, symmetric anatomy that facilitates leaflet reconstruction.

The HAART 200 Aortic Annuloplasty Device is not available for sale outside of the U.S.

Discover a comprehensive solution

Internal, geometric ring annuloplasty produces significant annular remodeling that facilitates leaflet reconstruction and makes aortic valve repair a simpler and more reproducible procedure. Use of the HAART devices has given many surgeons the confidence to expand the use of aortic valve repair beyond just valve sparing root replacement to include patients with a broad range of underlying etiologies of aortic insufficiency.
